These pictures were taken September 27th - 29th, 2002 during my motorcycle trip to the Ouachita Mountains located in Oklahoma and Arkansas.

We ate lunch at City Limits in Sherman on the way to Talihina. Jory's parents ran a cafe here until about 1980 when they sold it to the current owners, Denny and Cindy.

Jory relaxes before we hit the road again. The burgers are good and so is the atmosphere.

Picture near the door of Jory's parents outside the cafe. They wisely taught him the value of an education by letting him wash dishes.

Denny and Cindy.

We stayed at the Kiamichi Inn in Talihina. At $64.80 total for two nights it was a very good value.

The room was clean and comfortable.

Along the Talimena Scenic Drive.

Another stop along the scenic drive. We rode 340 miles on Saturday including a 100 mile loop in Arkansas.

We ate lunch at the Skyline Cafe in Mena, Arkansas.

Inside the cafe.

On the way back we stopped to take a picture of this interesting sign.

On the way home my butt refused to go another mile so I took a five minute break at the Dairy Queen in Rhome. I was quite surprised to see this Isetta

You could park two of them in one space!
