These pictures are from my 2 day, 1200 mile trip on November 4th and 5th to the Geographic Center of the Contiguous U.S. located near Lebanon, KS. I first read about it on Guy Boutin's Motorcycle Touring and Travel Pages about a month ago and wanted to see it since then.

I had a good lunch at the Putnam Cafe in Putnam, KS.

The Barron Theater in Pratt, KS. Whoever decided to put new bricks on the lower part is an idiot.

Looking down Main St. in Pratt.

Manweiler Chevrolet in Hoisington, KS has been in business since 1928.

I stayed at the U.S. Center motel in Smith Center, KS. It's a good value at $40/night.

You know it's an old motel when you see a bottle opener.

I rode 600 miles to see this sign.

Russell, KS. Excellent name for a town.

I stopped at Spangles in Wichita, KS for lunch on the way home.
