Route 66 Museum

These pictures are from my overnight trip to the Route 66 Museum in Clinton, Oklahoma August 14th & 15th, 2008

Stopping at the new Huddle House in Decatur for breakfast.

Boothe Drug in Hobart, OK has a nice soda fountain.

Not many traffic lights like this one still in operation. This is the only intersection in Hobart with a traffic light.

This statue of Lone Wolf was carved with a chainsaw from a 100 year old oak tree that had to be cut down.

These statues were taken from a nearby bridge that was being town down.

The Glancy Motel pictured at the bottom still exists.

I stopped for the night on the way home at the Tanglewood Motel in Frederick, OK. It was clean and affordable at $42.13 a night. A storm blew in around 9:00p, the clerk was nice enough to let me move my bike under cover.
