These pictures are from my trip to the Hill Country to ride some of the best roads in Texas. Leaving October 5th 2001 and returning October 7th we enjoyed perfect weather; comfortable even in full leathers. There is nothing better than the open road with 130 horsepower between your legs!

My 929 loaded up and ready to go.

I should have been a model don't you think?

Jory next to his Honda Shadow ACE. The Shadow has since been replaced with an ST1100.

Jory at Cooper's Bar-B-Que in Llano. The food is fantastic, you pick your meat right from the pit!

Another shot of Cooper's.

Bikes parked at the Hill Country Inn in Mason. Nice place for the price, clean and quiet.

A shot of my room.

The Mason square on Saturday morning.

Another shot of the square.

The Mason County courthouse.

Mason's Odeon theater.

I could not pass up a chance to see a movie Saturday night at this vintage theater.

The theater is being restored as a community project.

A curve along 337 that runs between Medina and Camp Wood. Fast curves, slow curves, hills and great scenery make this a perfect road to have fun on.

See what I mean about great scenery on 337?

Final rest stop in Granbury. We rode 377 from Mason to Fort Worth to get back a little quicker. Almost 1000 total miles for the weekend.
