After eight years of riding without a crash I added a bit of excitement to the trip by crashing my 929rr. I wish I had a good story to tell about a 120 MPH low side along FM-337 but I lost it at 5 MPH coming out of the parking lot at Cooper's Bar-B-Que in Llano. As I was turning out of the parking lot my rear wheel hit a speed bump I knew was there causing me to lose my balance. It may have been a low speed crash but I milked it for all it was worth, ending up laying in the right lane of SR-29 with my right leg pinned under the bike. Very dramatic. Luckily the bike could still be ridden so I was able to continue the trip. The biggest problem was my right mirror was broken, I taped a mirror purchased from Auto Zone to what was left of my old mirror.

The lower part of the faring is a $189 part and that is with a discount! Honda retail cost is $329.

The blinker was damaged but functional.

Broken mirror ($40.99) and scratched ThrottleMeister. Even a low speed crash on a sportbike is very expensive, total cost is $535.18.
